Job Summary
As an Accounts Receivable Officer at Swissport, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, playing a vital role in optimizing cash flow and maintaining strong client relationships. With an unwavering attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments, proactively monitor outstanding balances, and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. Your contributions will directly impact the financial success of the organization as you work to streamline processes, minimise delinquencies, and foster a positive payment experience.

Your activities
- Monitoring and reconciliation of customer accounts, associated credit limits and stop orders
- Responding to AR inquiries in a professional & timely manner
- Creation & maintenance of debtor accounts
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders
- Process & investigate chargebacks and returns
- Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals
- Processing and reconciling invoices and payments
- Preparing and analysing financial reports
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Managing accounts receivable and collections
Your profile
- Aviation/Ground Handling/Cargo industry experience would be preferred but not essential
- Experience in accounts, customer service or bookkeeping
- Working understanding of Microsoft Office programs and M365
- Ability to key and check data with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously effectively priorities their day
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills to partner effectively with our customers and employees
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Proficient in Intermediate levels of computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite & NetSuite)
- A sound understanding of the end-to-end accounts receivable process
- The ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
