As Business Improvement Controller, you will Identify, develop, implement and review of business process improvements across the assigned business area to achieve the strategic and operational objectives through effective delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and various efficiency projects as required. This role is based full-time in our Dubai Office.

In this role, you will:

• Manage Operational Documentation and Control: Draft, update, and maintain dnata Cargo operations manuals and procedures in alignment with corporate frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of controlled documents, including version control, periodic reviews, approvals, and structured distribution, while ensuring obsolete or outdated content is promptly removed to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and deliver the industry best practices to enhance the operational effectiveness.
• Review, design, implement and maintain the strategic and productivity improvements such as resource and equipment planning, financial analysis and long-term planning.
• Develop the business improvement program through planning, coordinating and monitoring of initiatives within the business. Co-ordinate training workshops to impart business process improvement techniques to stakeholders.
• Provide conceptual inputs on trends in Automation and Information Technology to enable the project teams to adopt state of art and cost-effective automation solutions.
• Ensure continuous improvements in the level of the customer satisfaction for the business by carrying out qualitative research by benchspaning best practice prevalent in other similar sized ground handling organizations.
• Work with the management in setting up systems to evaluate business unit performance against KPIs.
• Conduct audits every three to six months to ensure that the identified changes have been effectively implemented.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of airport operations experience either within Ground Handling or Cargo.
• Experience in Business Improvement concepts, Business Process and Automation, Business planning and performance measurement.
• Working knowledge of business improvement principles and tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the development and review of innovative solutions to operational problems.
• Must possess an inquiring and creative mind for critical analysis.
• Advanced stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management expertise.
• Advanced written skills in relation to report, policy, process and procedure documentation.

You’ll have an edge if you have:

• Certification as First-Aider or Fire-Warden.
• Project Management or related certifications.
