Job Summary:

Sustainability Solutions Associate: help grow our carbon credit and sustainability reporting programs. This role is perfect for someone with strong sales or client service experience whos looking to build their career at the intersection of aviation and environmental sustainability. You’ll help customers understand our carbon offset and ESG solutions, work with internal teams to improve offerings, and stay up to date on evolving spanet trends in the sustainability space.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Present and explain Avfuel’s carbon credit and sustainability products and services to clients

• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, trading, legal) to support product delivery and improvement

• Contribute to the development of tools and templates that will assist customers

• Learn about trends in voluntary and compliance carbon spanets

• Identify and develop new business opportunities

• Opening additional channels of trade

• Obtaining order commitments

• Developing sales targets and forecasts

• Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals

• Coordinate activities, opportunities and cross-sell with other sales departments

• Develop knowledge of individual airport spanets and influencers

• Develop working knowledge of competitor products and services, customer segments and trends affecting the industry

• Territory travel is required

• Expect to travel three days per week every other week

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree (MBA preferred; any discipline; environmental studies or business background welcome)
• 4-6 years of sales and business experience
• Aviation experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Travel required
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
