About This Role
Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA is looking for a dedicated Associate Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs in our Weapons Systems business segment. As an Associate Program Master Scheduler, you will work cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to develop, manage and report on Engineering Development and Production schedules. In this role you’ll also provide and develop scheduling best practices in Earned Value Management.
Responsibilities:
Analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensure they accurately represent contractual scope, logic flow, and resources required to execute the program.
Assist in the development of program baselines, including assigning resources within work-breakdown-structures, assigning earned value methods, and verification of contract budget baseline
Coordinate with Financial Analysts and provide technical insight on Earned Value variance analysis to assist CAMs in baseline variance reporting
Resolve schedule issues efficiently through root cause analysis and teamwork
Monitor and improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures
Analyze operational health metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
0-3 years’ experience in scheduling within an engineering development and/or manufacturing operation, or other similar experience
Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs
Familiar with Schedule management within the Primavera P6 scheduling tool, or Microsoft Project, or Deltek OpenPlan.
Proven working knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or other related field is preferred.
Experience with implementing, tracking and reporting schedule performance/Earned Value
Ability to derive, interpret and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to Senior Leadership team (e.g. schedule variance, SPI, milestone burndown, plan vs actual, etc.)
Ability to develop and report on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA)
Experience with supporting development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and transitioning these into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Excellent oral and written communication skills & ability to interface effectively and efficiently across the organization.
Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (i.e. SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN, etc.).
Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
