As Intern - Procurement Fulfillment Analyst you will learn how the Sourcing is built and how we drive our operations with the Suppliers. You will contribute to the optimization of the interaction process between Planning Plant Team and Procurement aiming to achieve Procurement KPI’s goals. You will report to the Lead Procurement Data Analyst and you will collaborate with the Procurement Team and Digital Team in order to learn how to relate with different departments.If you are excited about understanding how the Sourcing in Avio Aero drives the operations and how we shape our Supply Base in the Aeronautical space, then this internship is for you.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Learn how we track the performances of our suppliers and how we drive our decision-making process
Assisting in the development of new analytical tools to improve Procurement operations
Learn how problem solving tools (5 Whys, Six Sigma) and our proprietary FLIGHT DECK model work.
Learn how the Materials Planning flow process works and how the Plant is escalating delivery issues to Procurement.
Joining Supplier’s order book review with Planning team and escalation call about delivery issues with Procurement team.
Support the team (after the training phase) to ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts for internal production and customers directly
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Management, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Basic knowledge of Data analysis tools (e.g. Excel)
Good knowledge of Office 365 Suite
Fluent in Italian and English
Good organizational skills and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
Collaborative and proactive approach to work
Can Do attitude, curiosity, and Teamwork oriented
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with Supply Chain processes or Procurement
Enthusiasm for learning and applying new tools and methodologies
Ability to work effectively in a team
Interest for Aerospace sector and related applications
