POSITION PURPOSE
Oversee and coordinate operations, including the audit and management of Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs), scheduling, and communication between departments. Ensure compliance with FAA and LIFT Academy regulations and maintain operational efficiency.

Operations and Scheduling Management
- Oversee and audit the complete roster of DPEs.
- Recruit additional DPEs based on operational need.
- Maintain check ride data and provide updated reports on DPE communication.
- Maintain communication between the scheduling department and DPE availability for check ride scheduling.
- Assist the Operations Manager in building and publishing monthly instructor bids and schedules.
- Assist with new student and flight instructor orientations.
Compliance and Reporting
- Audit and approve check ride invoices.
- Oversee that exams are logged properly, and students are enrolled in their next training course.
- Track test events, instructor duties, check ride failures, and report to management.
- Track time building hours for instructors and/or students when required and report to Operations Manager and Cape Air liaison when student is projected to reach time building goal.
- Verify student and instructor documents for compliance.
Training and Development
- Train new hires in the scheduling department.
- Provide an overview of the companys software and emphasize accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the Chief Instructor Team to schedule required training events for Instructors.
- Ensure proficiency among schedulers and provide coaching and training as needed.
Strategic Coordination and Leadership
- Assist in enrolling students in course-based training (CBTs) after passing their check ride.
- Work with Scheduling Coordinators during Irregular Operations (IROPS).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinators during IROPS.
- Drive improvements through cross-functional problem-solving.
- Assist Manager in staffing needs, schedules, and controlling absences.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of new Crew Schedulers.
- Foster an environment of teamwork.
- Uphold Republics Guiding Principles and RJet Navigator policies.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least two years of crew scheduling experience
- Experience with aviation related software systems
- Ability to perform high-level decision-making within strict time constraints.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years related experience.
- Experience in scheduling or coordination roles.
- Experience leading others.
