What You Will Do:
- Create Requests for Proposals (RFPs), lead contract negotiations, oversee supplier relationships, administer contracts, and develop reporting requirements throughout the life of the subcontract in compliance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications.
- Review, understand and implement the prime contract requirements into subcontracts, including Terms and Conditions, pricing structure and acceptance criteria, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and consistency with the prime contract.
- Develop and implement subcontract performance standards and measurement methods to monitor subcontractor performance throughout the contract lifecycle, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to subcontractor performance, delivery, and compliance.
- Provide strategic guidance to management on contractual rights and obligations, as well as recommend effective strategies to mitigate contractual and program risks. Conduct data analysis and ensure the maintenance of comprehensive historical records for accurate reference and reporting.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and safeguard program success.
- Lead negotiations for legal, pricing, and delivery terms to benefit RTX and our customers.
- Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and schedules to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Proactively resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, or performance concerns to maintain program momentum.
- Assess vendor financial stability, supply chain resilience, and compliance with RTX standards, implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Guarantee adherence to Controlled Goods, FCPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing guidance on contracting processes and strategies.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, with at least 8 years of experience in a contracts or procurement role.
- Proven ability to negotiate and amend non-standard agreements, including flow-down and flow-up requirements.
- Familiarity with import/export legislation and business law as it applies to contracts and procurement.
- Experience working with international suppliers or customers.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to complex challenges.
- A willingness to learn and succeed in new and dynamic situations.

The salary range for this role is 78,000 CAD - 122,850 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
