Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Specialists Metrics & Reporting in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business operations, using data to represent performance, processes, and KPIs.
Locate, extract, and aggregate data from various sources to support analysis, modeling, and project development.
Design scorecards, performance reviews, and dashboards that focus on KPIs critical to the business.
Develop and improve automated reports, analyses, and dashboards for senior leaders and front-line employees.
Analyze KPI drivers and collaborate with business teams to develop actionable solutions.
Utilize descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to address challenges, highlight solutions, and communicate insights effectively.
Present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership to facilitate decision-making and strategic alignment.
Provide automated reporting, data pulls, and analytics support to the Aircraft Maintenance and Airport Operations, ODS, Finance, OAP and IT teams.
Design and implement end-to-end applications, database structures, manage data integrity, and ensure efficient, reliable data pipelines.
Work with IT and BI teams to optimize database environments, ensuring high efficiency and best practices.
Enhance existing processes, implement new ones, and explore emerging technologies to boost productivity and data delivery.
Less than 10 travel required.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field, and 5 years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field and 2 years of related experience.

Must have work experience:

Using Alteryx to streamline and automate data preparation and blending, allowing to quickly clean and merge data from multiple sources;
Using Power BI for reports and dashboards that translate data into visual summaries;
Using Tableau to develop customized dashboards and visual stories;
Using SAS for advanced statistical analyses, including predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical testing;
Using SQL to retrieve, update, and aggregate data stored across various databases;
Using Python to build and deploy predictive models, perform exploratory data analysis, and script tasks for process automation;
Using SAP BI to create reports and manage data warehousing; and
Applying Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning techniques to analyze historical data, develop predictive models, and support strategic decisions.
