Actively Hiring Avionics Technician in Greensboro, NCJob Description
We are seeking Avionics Technicians to perform operational checks, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and electrical systems, and perform avionics modifications on a variety of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. This role involves performing heavy maintenance (C & D Checks) and overhauls.
Responsibilities
- Conduct operational checks of avionics and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair various avionics systems.
- Perform modifications on avionics systems.
- Engage in heavy maintenance and overhauls, including C & D Checks.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 2 years of experience in avionics installation and/or troubleshooting in an MRO environment.
- Proficiency in performing heavy maintenance and modifications on Boeing (B737, B757, B767, B777, B747) and Airbus (A319, A320, A321) aircraft.
- Experience with avionics modification and troubleshooting.
- Capability in electrical troubleshooting and installations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Depot Level or Phase Level Military experience with C-17, C-130, KC-135, KC-10 is highly regarded.
- Experience in Wi-Fi installations is beneficial.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large Heavy Maintenance / MRO Facility with multiple hangars. Candidates must be prepared to work on a flexible shift schedule, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, and be available for some weekend work. Steel toe shoes are required, and you must bring your own tools. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
