The Hypersonics Advanced Programs team is looking for a Project Engineerto execute a research and development flight test demonstration project. In this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Support arcjet and structural ground test planning, procurement, integration, and execution
• Support the Flight Sciences lead in managing the execution of multiple analysis efforts simultaneously
• Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, document notes and meeting minutes
• Transfer data between networks
• Support formal system design reviews
• Track analysis action items
• Update the Flight Sciences’ Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate scheduled tasks with other teams
• Develop and maintain project plans, including budgets and resource allocations
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across a small, (hypersonic) fast-paced, dynamic program; adapting to the rapidly changing environment of a development program on a challenging schedule
• Use your excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to work across Lockheed Martin business areas to progress towards a common goal
• Promote a positive teamwork culture within a small, diverse team spread across multiple sites

Selected candidate for this role will typically have at a minimum 2 years of related professional work experience and a Bachelors degree from an accredited college within a related discipline.

Basic Qualifications:
• Accredited degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or technical field and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience as a project and/or systems engineer
Active or current DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering
• Experience as a project engineer on a missile development program
• Experience supporting flight sciences or missile performance analysis
• Experience developing PowerPoint slides and briefing customers in formal meetings
• Experience writing technical documents
• Familiar with analysis tools and methods including Matlab, CFD, FEA, aerodynamics, shock and vibration, heat transfer, etc.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
