Prioritize safety and airworthiness compliance to deliver high-quality Service Bulletins (SBs) to customers on time. Provide timely responses to customer queries and support the Service Bulletin (SB) embodiment process.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze the design definitions and installation principles related to Airframe Structures, specifically for Hydro-Meca, Cabin and Cargo systems

• Collect and synthesize source documents, including TRS/MAS, Design Drawings, SB preparation files, and 3D Design datasets

• Perform Technical analysis: 

  • Evaluate Pre-MOD vs. Post-MOD solutions

  • Define SB Configuration for the given MSN(s) applicable

  • Determine aircraft access requirements

  • Calculate man-hour estimates for SB embodiment

• Develop the List of Components (LOC), identifying Long Lead Items (LLI), wiring bundles and placard set(s)

• Coordinate the procurement of essential data, including Weight & Balance, Electrical Load Data, SB Test and impacts on Operational & Maintenance manuals

• Author Service Bulletins within SAMM-DACAS, defining accomplishment tasks and detailed installation/removal procedures

• Analyze 3D source files to develop mock-ups and generate technical illustrations using Tec-Draw tool

• Perform rigorous self-checks and proofread Service Bulletins from internal production centers to ensure full compliance with Airbus standards

• Review and approve supplier-generated Service Bulletins to verify adherence to Airbus quality and safety standards

• Answer to customer queries through Tech-Request

• Provide on-site assistance to SB validation/embodiment on in-service or production aircraft

• Maintain seamless interfaces with Engineering, Material Supply and Tech Data departments throughout the SB lifecycle.

Qualification & Skills:

B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering

Experience: 5 to 6 years as Service Bulletin Designer for Aerospace projects

• Airbus certified Proofreader for Service Bulletin-Production Release is highly preferred

• Comprehensive understanding of airframe structures, including Hydro-Meca, Cabin and Cargo configurations

• Expert ability to interpret complex 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications 

• Proficient in ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D specifications, with a firm command of Simplified Technical English (STE)

• Working experience on Airbus Toolset:

  • Authoring: SAMM-DACAS, Arbortext Editor, CIRCE, GIDOCA and GILDA

  • Configuration & Lifecycle: APS, VPM and PASS SSCI

  • Digital Mock-Up (DMU): 3D-JUMMP and NOVODESK

• Knowledge of aircraft configuration management and product structure

• Proven project management capabilities, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are met

• Skilled in mechanical SB illustration tools; knowledgeable in AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) authoring is an advantage

• Highly proactive with strong organizational and assertive communication skills

• Experienced team player capable of interfacing with cross-functional engineering and production departments

• Full professional proficiency in English.
