Based onsite in our Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence located in Johnstown, PA, you will gain hands-on experience working closely with and assisting our Supplier Quality team with various assignments related to supplier performance. This includes providing oversight of suppliers and executing proactive/reactive actions to improve the quality of the products/services provided to Leonardo DRS.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with and assist the supplier quality department in the conduct of various assignments
- Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things
- Complete assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble data
- May be required to help in research in a particular field
- Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the supplier quality engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in an institution for higher learning, some progress towards relatable degree
- Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
- Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
