PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this vital role, you’ll support the procurement process that keeps complex aerospace programs on schedule — ensuring materials, parts, and services are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
What You’ll DoAs a key member of a collaborative 14-person team, you’ll help manage the flow of materials and supplier communications that drive operational success. Your day will include:
Sending requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and tracking responses.
Generating and submitting purchase requisitions in SAP.
Coordinating with buyers to review pricing and order details.
Monitoring open orders and following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Supporting process improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.
You’ll work in a supportive environment where teamwork, communication, and precision are valued every day.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP MRP systems.
At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience generating purchase requisitions in SAP.
Experience managing supplier relationships and ensuring on-time delivery.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
