MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- License in all states served by Apollo MedFlight CBS.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in high an acuity setting.
- Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS at hire, NRP certification within 3 months of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
- Advanced trauma course (one of the following) within 6 months of hire.
- ATLS Audit
- TPATC
- ATCN, PHTLS, or TNCC with advanced pathophysiology and skills lab
- CFRN or CTRN is required within 2 years of employment.
- Completion of NIMS 100 and 200, within one year of hire is required.
- Live in or be willing to relocate to the region (within 2 hours or less of assigned base).
- Valid Driver’s License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Flight Nurse.
- Previous transport experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
This position is based around the Amarillo area as a Local Float. Required travel to cover at any base in the TX/OK panhandle and Dodge City KS. Opportunity to fly both helicopter and fixed wing platforms. Flexibility a must.
