Logistics Team

Come join the Bell Piney Flats Logistics team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the team, supporting a variety of tasks, inventory controls, and warehouse and/or shipping areas.

What you’ll be doing as a Logistics team member

• Perform tasks for the logistics department under close supervision, which include:

• Fill, pack, wrap, protect, consolidate, and arrange orders according to instructions

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks

• Assist with cycle counts

• Record entry of finished products for corresponding warehouse

• Safely operate various warehouse equipment to assist with moving products

• Distribute parts and materials to helicopter technicians and production areas as required

• Work with various departments to ensure availability of requested parts and materials

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines

• May provide reports and status updates to managers and interested parties as required

• Other duties as assigned

Skills You Bring To this Role

• Basic competence in Logistics computer systems (ex. MS Office, Visual ERP or Equivalent)

• Ability to operate computer, keyboard, mouse, and other software related to job duties

• Demonstrated understanding of basic measurements and measuring equipment

• Ability to operate a forklift safely

• Attention to detail

What you need to be successful

• High School Diploma or GED

• 0-2 years of experience in a logistics role

• Additional experience may be a plus and could qualify selective candidate to offer at higher level/pay grade.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis

• Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles (applicable to teams that support AA Manufacturing operations)
