Job Title: Parts Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist responsible for shipping and receiving parts, materials, cores, and equipment while replenishing inventory in the computer system. The role requires ensuring no visible damage exists to packages and verifying that all items received comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. Duties include performing self-life audits and cycle counts at the facility located at Teterboro Airport, NJ. This position is open for candidates within driving distance.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
- Replenish inventory in the computer system.
- Verify packages for visible damage.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability.
- Conduct self-life audits and cycle counts.
Essential Skills- 1-2 years of experience with aircraft parts or auto parts.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Great attention to detail.
- Verifiable high school diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Willingness and ability to obtain DOT/IATA certifications.

Work Environment
Work indoors in a hanger, requiring attire such as a t-shirt, work pants, and boots. The role offers shift options including an overnight shift from 10pm to 6:30am, Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.

This is a Contract position based out of Carlstadt, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
