The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Domain Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; Saint Charles, MO; Dallas, TX; or Miami, FL.
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Domain Architect in Enterprise Business Systems, where you will be hosting the architecture in all of our Supply Chain function from Sourcing, Planning, and Fulfillment. In this influential role, you will be a key player within our Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) organization, driving initiatives that enhance our supply chain operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with individuals across departments (IT and business) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions
Define requirements and designs robust architecture
Establish design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to requirements
Assess the feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives based on industry best practices
Perform trade-off analyses
Responsible for process analysis, functional and logical system design, configuration and implementation
Perform fit-gap analysis
Lead the evaluation of new releases or alternate software, reviewing business and technical literature and interacting with analysts and user groups
Ensure that all solutions follow security, compliance controls, and conformance to firm’s IT security standard
Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
Analyze trends and draw conclusions to reduce/eliminate recurring/high impacting issues in production to improve operational stability
Monitor and correct solution performance, stability, and sizing during customer roll-out phase
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment
10+ years of experience in providing architecture (including business, application, integration, security, or infrastructure architecture) support to a project or domain that consists of multiple applications and/or technologies
5+ years of experience in advanced planning systems like SAP SPP, PTC’s SPM (Simple applications & products, strategic planning process, Power to Create’s Service Parts Management) Kinaxis, Blue Yonder (JDA), i2, Baxter, etc.
5+ years of experience developing and implementing integrations for ERP platforms
5+ years of experience with end-to-end solution implementation experience (Domestic and International)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Experience with SAP ECC or S4 to integrate disparate systems across multiple technologies base is essential to build transition architecture as part of the Enterprise Digital Transformation journey
Experience with Cloud based SaaS solutions and usage of cloud native architecture and microservices
Experience with supply chain business functionalities in aerospace and/or defense industry
Experience with supply chain functional and technical expertise across all areas of sourcing, planning and fulfillment
Experience in working with COTS ERP products like Infor ERP, Compass, etc.
Experience with planning systems like JDA with background in automotive or similar manufacturing industries

Summary pay range: $142,800 – $207,000
