* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPCM, or DAWIA Level II/III) preferred.
* 7-10+ years of procurement experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense supply chain and compliance activities.
* Proven expertise in DoD proposal support, CPSR readiness, and creating compliant PO packages.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain subcontracting, including T’s & C’s, SOW’s, and vendor management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for advising teams and liaising with stakeholders.
* Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and other relevant defense regulations.
* Ability to work independently in a small team environment while handling multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, contract management platforms). Preferred Skills
* Experience working as a prime or subcontractor on U.S. Department of Defense projects.
* Experience with global defense supply chains.
* Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
* Experience in aerospace and defense or government contracting environments.
* Knowledge of ITAR and Export Administration Regulations, cybersecurity compliance, including CMMC, and supply chain security practices.
* Understanding of cost estimating, supplier negotiations, and Basis of Estimate development for defense proposals.
* Experience with proposal pricing tools such as ProPricer and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
* You have knowledge/experience as a Supply Chain representative supporting Global Defense / DoD proposals.
* Analytical mindset with a track record of process optimization.
* You are familiar with the U.S. DoD acquisition process, including RFP structures, flow-downs, and compliance standards.
* You have knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and international defense contracting practices.
* You have experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry or a government contracting environment. Job Duties & Functions
* Support U.S. Department of Defense and global defense supply chain proposal activities, including development and review of procurement strategies for bids and contracts.
* Ensure compliance with defense procurement regulations and support preparation for Contractor Purchasing System Reviews.
* Develop and maintain compliant purchase order packages for defense procurement activities.
* Advise and mentor procurement team members on defense sourcing, subcontracting, and risk management practices.
* Serve as liaison between procurement and cross-functional teams, including legal, program management, engineering, and proposal teams.
* Manage supply chain subcontracting processes, including negotiation of terms and conditions and statements of work.
* Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks within defense programs.
* Contribute to process improvements, training programs, and documentation to strengthen defense procurement capabilities.
