We currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Warehouse Materials Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for detailed materials coordination and required planning in support of components and fleet maintenance. The incumbent will implement procedures and processes within the materials group to better assist maintenance personnel in meeting their production schedules.
In this role your duties will include the following:
- Coordination of pre draw kits to support planned maintenance of components;
- Manage component flow from removal to repair;
- Prioritize Component Shop workload in conjunction with component shop planner to meet maintenance requirements;
- Receive and process customer Repair Orders;
- Receive and disposition parts returned from Conair Shops;
- Create Orders for Components (Repair/overhaul) to be sent to external vendors;
- Receiving inspection of Level 4 components;
- Manage the replenishment of component min/max;
- On call duties as required.
We are looking for someone with:
- Knowledge of principles of planning, this will include knowledge of ERP systems;
- Ability to perform complex conformity and quality inspection, based on drawings and industry standards;
- Ability to organize work effectively;
- Excellent business acumen;
- Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft office and automated planning systems;
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral;
- Strong team player with the ability to focus on customer requirements in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Training/Education:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in all aspects of a stores department (preferably level 3);
- Conair receiving inspection certification (desirable);
- Formal training in materials management through PMAC, APICS or equivalent will be an asset;
- Completion of Grade 12.
