Job Description:

Position Summary:
The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial turbine helicopters.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines in accordance with FAA 145 requirements.
  • Perform major sheet metal repairs and fabricate sheet metal and composite parts when needed.
  • Perform additional tasks such as installing kits and assisting with fly-offs.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with all instructions, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Properly document all work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • FAA A&P Certificate.
  • 3+ years of experience with commercial turbine helicopter maintenance, preferably in a Part 145 environment.
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Ability to prioritize work, and to exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, strong sense of responsibility, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions closely, good organization skills.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate and coordinate with others.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders, and work stands.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
