Job Title: Aircraft Assembly TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team in Roswell, GA. In this full-time, first shift role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and testing of jet engines and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and repair jet engine components and systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on jet engine equipment.
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with engine systems.
- Follow detailed technical manuals and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and repair.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement and improve testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.
Essential Skills- Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing or assembly field can substitute an associates degree.
- Proven experience as an Aerospace Technician or similar role. Strong understanding of aerospace systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work standing for up to 8 hours per day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
- 10 international travel to Europe is required in the first year.
- Sheet metal, aviation, aircraft, structure, structural assembly, rivet assembly, aviation structural assembly, turbine engine, and drone experience.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing facility, which can be noisy and may require the use of protective gear. The position involves standing, walking, and lifting, which can be physically demanding. As this is a new site, flexibility in taking on tasks outside of the usual scope to get production going is expected.
