Summary:
Report to the Crew Chief and complete assigned work tasks
Perform maintenance in compliance with company policies, FAA regulations, and industry best practices
Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and safety
Procure parts, including verification of authenticity, proper documentation, shipping/receiving, and inventory management
Travel on company flights as required to provide maintenance support
Provide rapid response and deployment for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) maintenance events
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including pre- and post-flight inspections
Conduct hangar and shop facility maintenance and inspections as required
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials (fuel, oils, batteries, etc.) and correct use of PPE
Learn and utilize the companys Computerized Maintenance Program (CAMP) to determine aircraft status
Accurately document and record all maintenance activities
Ensure all required in-house training is completed and current
Maintain company Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as directed
Attend safety and departmental meetings as requested by the Crew Chief, Aircraft Fleet Manager, or Director of Maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Chief
Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
Must have own tools
Minimum of 1 year experience in Part 135 or Part 145 turbine-powered aircraft operations
Required experience on one or more of the following aircraft types:
Entry-level technicians may be considered with one of two mechanic certificates, with agreement to obtain the second certification within one year of hire
Ability to read and understand company manuals, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, and aircraft maintenance manuals
Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment drug test
Valid drivers license required
Frequent physical activity, including bending, reaching, and prolonged sitting in aircraft cockpits
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds vertically (4 feet) and maneuver loads at arms length
Ability to work from ladders and elevated equipment for extended periods
Ability to kneel for extended periods
Ability to work outdoors on exposed aircraft ramps in rain and windy conditions
Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Flexibility to work overtime due to changing flight schedules and unscheduled maintenance needs
Ability to travel occasionally for off-site maintenance events and provide oversight at repair facilities
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
