Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Organizes and Leads the maintenance team during breakdowns and Preventative Maintenance;
  • Develops work procedures for equipments interventions and how to be operated;
  • Responsible for fulfilling the req’d planned maintenance according to plan;
  • Develops PM schedule in accordance with equipments manuals and statistical data or other data available
  • Builds data records relevant for maintenance (used in planning of PM, buying spareparts, etc) using maintenance system and software provided;
  • Ensures the maintenance and repair of the equipment in accordance with the instructions stipulated in the technical books of the equipment
  • Builds and keep the spare parts inventory in accordance with needs and data available;
  • Keeps the records according to internal quality procedures for each equipment (quality system)
  • Follow and respects all internal procedures (EHS, quality, etc) and local legislation if needed
  • Monitors (inspect, control) the activities of the contracted maintenance services for equipments and facility; Contact contractors when needed and organize their interventions at the site. Participate at discussions to solve technical disputes when they arise.  

Required Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in a technical field. Additional studies or certifications are considered a plus.
  • Experience: First experience in maintenance within a production environment.
  • Technical Skills: Specific knowledge of manufacturing equipment and technologies.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in PC operation.
  • Language Skills: English speaking proficiency.
  • Personal Attributes:

    • Ability to maintain distributive and concentrated attention.
    • Strong prevention and control skills.
    • Problem-solving capacity.
    • Stress resistance and ability to remain calm under pressure.
