Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft structural components and systems
- Perform structural repairs including sheet metal, composites, and corrosion control
- Inspect and verify repairs to ensure flight worthiness and regulatory compliance
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
- Interpret and work from technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
- Conduct and support nondestructive inspection (NDI) processes
- Document all maintenance, repairs, and modifications in aircraft logs and records
- Utilize specialized tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, and sheet metal equipment
- Support team-based maintenance activities and occasionally lead tasks on complex repairs
- Prioritize workload to meet production and maintenance schedules
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
- 1+ years of aircraft structural or maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience with P-8 aircraft
- Knowledge of aircraft structural repair and sheet metal modifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical publications and manuals
- Technical Knowledge:
- Aircraft systems troubleshooting and repair
- Structural repair principles (fatigue, corrosion, stress, materials)
- Familiarity with aircraft tools and test equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Boeing 737 aircraftBackground in military or commercial aviation maintenance environmentsExposure to NDI, composites, and overhaul processes
