Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Sheet Metal / Heavy Maintenance)
We are seeking skilled Structures Mechanics with heavy maintenance experience to support aviation maintenance operations in the Central Florida region. This role performs maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection of aircraft structures and systems to ensure airworthiness, safety, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and FAA-approved data. Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour for unlicensed technicians
• Hourly Rate: $32.00/hour for technicians with an A&P License
• Annual Earnings: Employees can earn approximately $85,000.00+ per year, depending on voluntary overtime
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Per Diem: Traveling contractors may qualify for per diem; details provided during screening

Key Responsibilities
• Perform aircraft structural maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection tasks in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
• Work from written and verbal instructions as assigned
• Record completed work accurately and assume responsibility for work performed through proper sign-off
• Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to complete assigned duties
• Complete sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, and component replacements as assigned
• Support experimental or developmental work as needed
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and company quality requirements
• Maintain proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials related to assigned duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of heavy maintenance experience required
• Aircraft structures, sheet metal, or structural repair experience strongly preferred
• A&P License preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings
• Must be proficient in the use of tools, gauges, instruments, and equipment required for assigned duties
• Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal related to the job assignment
• Must be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge, including passing a criminal background check
