Key Responsibilities

• Manage building permits for construction and maintenance projects.
• Oversee in-house craft project management and ensure timely completion of initiatives.
• Coordinate multiple construction and maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Develop accurate project estimates, monitor expenses, and control costs effectively.
• Work effectively in a unionized environment, managing labor relations and adhering to collective bargaining agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Embrace GE Aerospace Lean System (FLIGHT DECK) to continue driving transformational improvements.

Critical Competencies

• Familiarity with unionized environments, including understanding collective bargaining agreements and managing labor relations effectively.
• High voltage knowledge and possession of key licenses a plus, (e.g., emergency response certification, hoisting license, sprinkler contractor’s license, operating engineer license, HVAC license).
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Commitment to OSHA standards and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of facilities project coordination experience) + Minimum of 5 years of facilities experience and/or construction management
• Current Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License

Desirable Qualifications

• Maintain and utilize operating engineer licenses (1st or 2nd) and other required certifications.
