Job Description:

Airbus is seeking a skilled and motivated Consolidation Manager (F/M) to join our Accounting team based in Toulouse.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the aggregation of financial data across various entities and divisions, ensuring the preparation of consolidated financial statements with a strong focus on quality and adherence to deadlines.

As a Consolidation Manager, you will have the responsibility to manage a team of 6 people,  collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to the financial reporting process by producing timely, accurate, and insightful financial data.

Consolidate the Divisional/Group financial information for Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly closings, complying with IFRS standards, internal deadlines and quality requirements. Dealing with some specific consolidation topics such as change in perimeter, M&A, Deferred Taxes

• Intercompany reconciliation: 

  • Your team will be in charge of the monthly intercompany reconciliation process for Commercial Aircraft and Group scope.

  • You will produce, maintain and improve KPIs to be presented at the monthly Intercompany Committee and follow-up on improvement actions with intercompany stakeholders (controlling, local accounting and GBS).

• Commercial Aircraft EBIT:

  • You will be the focal point for all topics related to Commercial Aircraft EBIT in close collaboration with Reporting and Controlling teams.

  • You will also be responsible for the quality and timeliness of consolidation entries impacting EBIT. 

  • For the purpose of the monthly EBIT freeze, you will gather and present the main EBIT impacts of the period to the Commercial Aircraft CFO and Head of Accounting. 

• Financial Result 

  • You will be in charge of Financial Result postings at consolidation level as well as producing an analytical review explaining the different impact in the Financial Result at Division level, to be included in the quarterly Division closing presentation to the CFO. 

• Audits

  • You will maintain a high standard of internal controls, documenting key controls through One Pagers and successfully pass Airbus’ Internal control yearly testing.  

  • Throughout the year, you will exchange with External auditors to complete audit procedures, anticipating closing topics and audit procedures. 

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in financial consolidation or a similar role. Audit experience welcome.

• A solid understanding of IFRS and a strong appetite for technical topics and transversal challenges.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing deliverables under tight deadlines.

• First experience of team management.

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and external auditors.

• Proactive, agile, and energetic, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written); French and/or German are a plus.
