PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined individuals for a Machinist position. This role is ideal for candidates with strong blueprint reading skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, performing inspections, and maintaining production goals. You’ll contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality components while ensuring compliance with work instructions and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality throughout production
Follow job work instructions and quality procedures
Deburr parts and meet daily production goals
Edit G-code programs as needed
Track and run jobs in order of precedence
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
Attend and participate in daily tier meetings
Log job information using SAP

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (valued)
1–2 years of CNC experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, OD mics, height gauges, depth mics, steel rulers)
Basic computer skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:15 PM – 1:15 AM
Subco Bonus Program: Up to $3,000
- $1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 90 days

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
