CNC Machinist / Machine OperatorJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up CNC machines, inspecting parts, and supporting efficient production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC lathes and/or mills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment.
Schedule (Multiple Shifts Available)Weekend Shift (3-day workweek): Friday – Sunday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay$28.00/hour
Training ScheduleAll new hires must be available for training on 1st shift for approximately 4–6 weeks:
Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and machining centers
Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
Record production data using DPI terminals and maintain accurate count records
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with additional production duties as needed, including:
Non-destructive testing
Mass finishing
Injection molding
Polishing
General cell support
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of machining experience with CNC lathes and/or mills OR
Vocational/high school machine shop training with at least 1 year of CNC experience
Ability to perform independent machine setups
Experience using precision measuring tools, including:
Micrometers
Calipers
Comparators
Indicators
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a cellular/team manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed
Preferred SkillsCNC troubleshooting experience
Strong understanding of machining processes and production environments
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
