Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Technical Field from an accredited school or institution (or a high school diploma/ GED with a minimum of 5 years of CMM Programming experience or related technical field).
- PC-DMIS for CMM 201 Certificate & prerequisites or equivalent.
- 5 years’ Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering documents (CAD models, engineering drawings, quality inspection / control plans, manufacturing instructions) including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Capability of programming in PC-DMIS
- Ability to load / unload and set up parts in equipment (castings, fixtures, raw stock, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to travel for training as required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Program multiple CMM’s supporting various machining processes and products.
- Aid in workflow management.
- Provide formatted reports as required and upon request.
- Provide up front support to engineering for NPI/NPD regarding design/drawing reviews to aid in seamless transition to production.
- Interpret prints developed with and without GD&T standards.
- Edit legacy Programs, develop probing and fixturing solutions as required.
- Develop SPC feedback software for quality and operators.
- Use Six Sigma tools and root-cause analysis to aid team in process troubleshooting.
- Mentor personnel in the operation and programming of measurement devices.
- Pursue new manufacturing technology, process improvement techniques and state of the art equipment to enhance the facilities manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform inspection as needed.
- Develop, implement and aid in the control of revision control systems for programmable equipment utilized across the site.
- Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow all safety procedures.
- Ability and willingness to cross-train employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understand all policies, practices, and procedures.
- PC-DMIS CMM language
- CAM programming experience
- PLC Knowledge
- Completion of a Machinist’s Certification program is preferred.
- Industry training in shop practices, blueprint reading, metrology practices and layout is preferred.
- Experience working with Teamcenter a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.

The pay for this position is 60,000/yearly. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 9/30/25.
