Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Architect (f/m) to join our Programs & Architectures department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team making the link between all the systems of an aircraft. which is of increasing importance in the future aircraft developments. As part of the ATA92 Directives and Certifications team, you will be involved in developing the means to optimize the EWIS footprint in current and future aircrafts. This is an opportunity to work on a central role with an exposure to R&T and Programs.

Your challenges:
Propose and develop an optimized multisystem architecture in links with all dependent systems.
Develop electrical installation directives of future aircraft to set-up a Physical Architecture of Electrical Installation consistent with the Systems Functional Architectures.
Take an active part in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) certification justification.
Under the control of Product Integrity and as part of the airworthiness function, carry out the certification tasks, and in particular manage the compliance demonstration activities.
Contribute pro-actively to electrical installation quality, and optimization of designs considering the following factors: Airworthiness, Safety, Design to Cost/Weight, Environment, Operational reliability and Manufacturing process.
Participate in several R&T projects and active aircraft Programs
Your boarding pass:
Min 3 years of professional experience as an engineer with some related experience in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) and Avionics Systems.
Advanced knowledge of Electrical System Installation Design.
Experience with Customer Support and/or System Safety would be a strong asset.
Good leadership, communication and networking skills.
Good Team player.
Negotiation level in English. French and/or German are a plus.
