Job PurposeEmirates Group Security develops, implements, and manages security strategies and measures across the Emirates network.
You will be responsible for managing communication and correspondence related to all operations facing Group Security mailboxes, coordination with the GSCC controller for incident response, and ensuring the effective implementation of GSCC SOPs and guidelines within the team.
- Monitor communication and correspondence over the Group Security operations mailboxes with the EK global network and stakeholders, ensuring practices are aligned and delivered according to company standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with the GSCC controller for incident responses, including disruptive passenger handling, flight disruptions, escort operations, cargo handling, and security clearances.
- Provide support for operational issues to ensure compliance and consistency with security policies, the Airline Security Program (ASP), and the Security Management System (SEMS).
- Ensure all calls, emails, or issues are attended to, resolved, and coordinated with the relevant units/departments and/or the GSCC controller and higher management, if necessary.
- Maintain detailed and qualitative records, updating and capturing all relevant incident details in the incident management tool as required by Group Security management and specialized analysis units.
- Maintain familiarity with and a good working knowledge of company and regulatory documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Provide support and backup to the Security Controllers during periods such as the activation of the corporate emergency response plan and operational disruption recovery plan activation.
- Ensure daily reports are received from other Group Security units in the GSCC, collate information, and prepare reports that are clearly understood, with the aim of protecting the safety and security of passengers, aircraft personnel, cargo, and company assets.
QualificationExperience:
+ 3 years, preferably in Aviation Security or similar function
Education:
12 years of education or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills:
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to write reports in a comprehensive manner
- Excellent skills of Office 365 applications
- Ability to explore open-source information platform to gather and verify information
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations
