JOB DESCRIPTION
TRAINING FACILITATOR
POSITIONSUMMARY:
Followingproject plans and guidance from the Training Manager and utilizinginnovative methods and advanced tools develop and present new and continuingeducation course material thereby positioning Comlux as an industry leader intraining.
EXAMPLESOF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the instructional design of in-depthtraining courses (modules), including their delivery, development, regulatorycompliance, standards, remedial, devices, handouts, outlines, agendas, syllabi anddelivering feedback on the effectiveness of the course material.
Remain current with Federal Aviation Regulations(FARs) as they relate to flight crew literature and training including but notlimited to: Parts 61, 91, 119, 121 and 145. Flight Standards InformationManagement System (FSIMS) 8900.10, and Advisory Circular (AC) requirements.
Consult with Comlux Certification to remaincurrent with regard to other regulating authorities around the world.
Consult airframe manufacturer’s technical dataas required.
Collaborates with all departments to obtaininformation required to develop training materials on all aspects of Comluxoperations.
Tailors training content based on trainee’s(employees, partners, or customers) specific needs.
Contributes to team planning for both trainingand development schedules.
Incorporates motivating, creative, andinteractive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in aneffort to maximize learning and retention.
Work with Comlux writer(s) and illustrator(s).
Builds training and train-the-trainer programs.
Supports development of e-learning solutions.
Ensures new training methodologies incorporatedinto training approach.
Maintain records and prepare statistical reportsto evaluate performance of trainer(s) and monitor the progress of trainees asappropriate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION,EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
5 years’ experience in a training role, preferablywithin the airline industry.
Qualification in Train the Trainer includingexperience in course design
REQUIREDSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficientin the use of Microsoft Office products and able to use Multimedia as atraining tool.
Mustlearn the use of newer tools such as but not limited to: Camtasia, Presenterand Articulate.
Highstandard of written and spoken English and high levels of interpersonal skills
