The Opportunity:

AT IMP Solutions, we provide IT, IT products and business consulting services to our clients across Canada. We are searching for a Managed Services Sales Representative in Atlantic Canada to join our company. This position will report into the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

What You Will Do:
  • Consultative Selling and Deal Closure:
    • Meet with potential clients to understand their IT landscape and pain points, serving as a trusted advisor to guide them on infrastructure optimization.
    • Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations that clearly communicate the benefits of the companys services.
    • Negotiate and close contracts, service agreements, and pricing, ensuring a smooth transition and onboarding for new clients by collaborating with the managed service team.
  • Sales Strategy, Prospecting, and Pipeline Generation:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets for managed IT services (network management, cybersecurity, cloud, disaster recovery, and IT support).
    • Proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities within both the current client base and new accounts through cold calling, networking, and digital channels to build a strong sales pipeline.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Client Relationship Management and Reporting:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to drive high retention and identify upsell/ cross-sell opportunities.
    • Work closely with Managed Services Customer Service Managers (CSMs) on client business reviews to ensure satisfaction and maximize additional sales.
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system, and prepare regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates for management.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field. Combination of education and practical experience considered.
  • 10+ years of IT sales experience with a preference given to some type of "service sales" focus over ones career.

  • Ability to take ownership of complex IT problems
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, including network management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT support
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with CRM and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
  • Any experience selling our strategic vendor partners solutions is preferred but not mandatory (Dell, HPE, VEEAM, Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.)
  • Any background in selling to a wide range of clients from Enterprise to mid-size business in Atlantic Canada.
