The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the aviation industry. This individual will focus on promoting Yingling Aviation’s MRO services, including interior refurbishments, avionics upgrades, and maintenance solutions, to private, corporate, and commercial aircraft owners and operators. This is a remote position with significant travel required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and maintain a visible presence in the spanet.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:- Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and established relationships to expand Yingling Aviation’s customer base.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of MRO services, including interior refurbishments, avionics upgrades, installations, and maintenance, to effectively present and promote Yingling’s capabilities.
- Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and spanet demands to provide insights and strategies for capturing new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery for clients.
- Travel: Represent Yingling Aviation at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, fostering a strong presence and reputation in the aviation community.
Education & Experience:- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in aviation MRO or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of aviation maintenance, avionics systems, and interior refurbishment processes.
- Relationships: Established network within the aviation industry, including OEMs, FBOs, and corporate flight departments.
- Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and building long-lasting partnerships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75) to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read and speak English. Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
- Communication with sales teams and clients is crucial.
Mathematical Skills:
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- CORRIDOR preferrerd.
- Salesforce preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Occasionally lifting up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Office based environment with frequent travel within given regions.
